Ida Okur

A dedicated and passionate languageteacher with over a decade ofexperience in Spanish and English-language teaching, Ida has beencreating dynamic teaching materialsher entire career. Committed tofostering a love for language learning,she has developed a range ofinteractive resources catering tostudents’ learning style diversity andbroad interests. She’s a firm believer inthe transformative power of educationand its ability to shape individuals intoglobal citizens.

Superhéroes is Think Education’s new Spanish course for younglearners that integrates gamification elements to promote languagelearning, problem-solving skills and students’ motivation. In a seriesof missions, students complete 3 challenges: communication, writingand CLIL. These challenges are small assessments but theysimultaneously award students a badge for reaching their goals. Aportfolio at the end of each mission encourages students to reflecton their success, the ways in which they learn, and a variety of socialand civic values. In the end, our young Superhéroes develop theirSpanish-language fluency while gaining social value superpowers!
